I Hate the AI!

The AI is not a smart pilot...full control deflections at 250 mph would instantly put most high performance jets into a stall or departure from controlled flight. Modern jets have some sort of envelope protection that prevents the pilot from doing this. Older aircrafts' pilots are simply trained not to put their jets into a stall (did you realize pilots could not use the ailerons in an F-4 when pulling G's in a turn? The aircraft would depart...the pilots used rudder to "rudder roll" their jet when the aircraft was "loaded" with G's while flying engagements!). But the AI is too stupid for either...so...why do I care? When building a jet specifically to enter a challenge, then test it, I'm forced to put so much weight in the front to prevent it from careening out of control at low speeds, the turning ability is compromised and to slow down to approach speed and for landings, even full nose up trim isn't enough, forcing the user to fly with some back stick pressure...not realistic at all! Sure, there are ways to XML edit zero weight blocks and move the C.G. around, but the last I checked, no real life jet has introduced "physics modification" as a cutting-edge technology...ok, rant over now.

Theres no better way to make the ai. Try flying only with code and commands. It sends out a command, but it has to load the command and execute it, while still flying. Imagine over a hundred commands that need executed and the dangers of flight, while constantly having to load and execute the command. Just be happy that it can keep up.
