according to the game system, it is almost impossible unless if the developers revamp and overhaul the current XML codes and attributes
the xml works like "part id" with a color and at the end of the XML it is like color #1 =ffffff color #2= 000000 etc so every part can have a single color, unless if it has primary and secondary colors like wings and engines and almost everything except fuselages, cones spheres and such, in other words there are specific parts that have colors, and the game system colors them like it is using paint bucket

This has been suggested before. This could also be a feature that the devs add in an update if they are able to.
