I know it was a little delayed, but here are my answers for your questions! Note that I literally copied and pasted the whole AMA comments section, and then reformatted. All spelling errors and grammatical mistakes have been gloriously preserved.
Aerobako:
@spefyjerbf could use attempt and make a rocket or something along those lines?
Answer: Most likely no. Rockets don't really fit into the styles that I like to build in. If you mean small rocket-based weapons, then maybe.
destroyerP:
Are you gonna do face reveal? JK
Where did you live
Answer: I know this was a joke, but I will say that I live in California. That doesn't reveal much, because California is huge in both population and geographical size.
Swiftsure:
Are you going to make a hyperdrive anyone can use? Like a modular system?
Answer: I would if I could. All of the warp drives that I use are different based on the shape, size, mass, weight, and composition of the ships that they are mounted on. Additionally, warp capable ships have to be constructed a certain way, and there are certain parts that cannot be put on warp capable ships. So, in short, I cannot.
BaconEggs:
What are your thoughts on Rogue One?
Answer: Of course the movie had some flaws, and like most science fiction, it has those moments where you kindof just have to roll with whats going on, and not think super-critically. I liked the movie though, and my only big problem with the movie is what they did with the character who was half-mechanical (poorman's darth vader)... they set him up to be a big, scary, important character, and then gave him like 10 minutes of screentime lol. Visuals were awesome though.
Visify:
What was your hardest build in sp
Answer: Every warp-capable ship, or when I started messing with negative weight.
TrainDude:
Whats your favorite pickup truck manufacturer? (i.e. Ram, Chevy, Ford, Nissan, Toyota...)
Answer: none really. I don't drive pickups. Although I do drive my family's ford explorer (2002), and it feels great.
KDS:
Would you rather eat whatever you want but have to eat a poop samdwich once a month, or eat the same thing, everyday. Note that you won't have to pay for any of it and it will go for the rest of you life. Lol.
Answer: Depends - Would I get E. coli?
MechWARRIOR57:
Do you plan to be more social in the future?
Answer: On SP? No. In real life? Yes. A few years ago I didn't do much with my friends, so now I'm trying to go out more.
Temmie:
What is one of your best memories on SP?
Answer: Probably when I was among the first to really take hover tech to its limits.
EternalDarkness:
What inspires you to build sci-fi?
Can you explain to me how you make things "hower"? I'm building something that's supposed to do that, and I'll need some tips.
Answer 1: I'm not sure. I just like stuff that looks futuristic. It also gives me more room for creativity than building in the modern or pre-modern eras.
Answer 2: For large crafts, I use wheels that have scale down height. The normal collisions for the wheels still stay, but they appear to be compressed. I also use overload to XML edit the traction to make the wheels slide around.
Hayhayjam664:
Will you build a light sabre using the jets in you're beacon
Answer: Probably not. I have plenty of other projects that I am looking forward to.
Aerobako:
Any plans for any craft utilizing your serenity escape pod?
Answer: Probably not. It would be a little confusing to me, especially because the cockpit on the escape pod is angled weirdly. However, I might make a new escape pod.
MechWARRIOR57:
are you ever going to make artillery? (futuristic and old and modern)
Answer: Now that you have given me that idea, I might. Most likely futuristic artillery though.
SimpleFlow:
Your weapons are cool but why do you do Them?
Answer: I'm not entirely sure. Mostly because they are fun, useful, and very quick to build. The hardest part about making weapons is coming up with an idea, and then thinking of how to do it.
MechWARRIOR57:
how old are you?
Answer: I won't give you my exact age, but I will say that I am a teenager who has a drivers license (in the United States... as driving regulations differ in different countries.)
Thanks for answering
Thanks for the answer!
@MrMecha Yeah, I closed the AMA, but I'll answer your question in this comment.
Answer: Probably not, legs are time consuming and I still cant get them to work.
Thanks!
