My game has officially decided to crap out on my ship that I've been making.
The ship's grand total is 756 parts, despite the fact that my game can still manage my 1397 part MX-1500 Super Heavy Tank "Devastator" (albeit with problems).
I was going to put some 50. cal machine guns at the walk ways of the boat, and some anti-air guns on top of the side cannons so if someone is willing to do that then you are awesome.
This ship is also, I believe, my largest build I have ever done, it comes in at the grand total of 269 ft, yep, the in-game camera can't even zoom out that far :(
So is this boat a success? I would say so...however, i can't test it, but i believe it works, I am going to upload it tonight so if you see the boat, tell me if it works, I put a lot of effort into this boat and i would hate to see it go to waste.
Finally I need a name for the ship if anyone would care to pitch in the comments, tell me what I should name it.
@DeezDucks
Okay, yeah, then that definitely explains it, the ship is basically scaled to be 4x larger than its supposed to be. Which would explain how it works on it's "normal" scale
Thing I've noticed with loading is that it can also be slowed down not just by the amount of parts but also by the size of specific parts. For example, I had a A330-200 that I stopped working on where most of the main body was a single 5 x 5 fuselage block scaled to be about 5 or 6 times the normal length, scaling was also present on the wings and such. The 130 part count A330 loaded slower that my Mirage 2000 at nearly 400 parts.
@CaesiciusPlanes
maybe MF-269
micro frigate-269
@CaesiciusPlanes
I really like that name...its just that my "battleship" is tiny in comparison to an actual battleship which is usually 800 feet long, its more of a corvette than anything, but its armament would classify it as a frigate with it 250 mm cannons.
