And I go shooting evey weekend using my .22LR rifle and it can shoot a group as small as the diameter of the bullet. The bullet goes through the same hole over and over again. When we shot it out at 100 yards it was totally off.
Well if you can actually hit the target from 400 meters away. You would have to aim up to compensate for bullet drop, the tiniest of winds can affect its accuracy by alot because it is a tiny bullet, and with that little ammount of powder in a .22LR cartridge the bullet would runs out of velocity quickly. It would probably kill a small animal.
Hmm. I can see why the .270 flies farther than the .308. The .270 has a smaller bullet and more powder (smaller bullet + more powder = higher velocity which means more range) than that of the .308. The .308 has a bigger bullet (heavy and slower reducing range) and less range.
You aren't an idiot @KillShot86, we all make mistakes at times. When you're dealing with rounds there are two things to consider. One is the size and weight of the projectile and the second is the amount of force behind the projectile provided by the powder in the cartridge. With the .22 and the .223 those are similar rounds but the force behind them is quite a bit different making the .223 much more damaging.
@Dllama4 I have know idea why but I'm a better shot going akimbo or non akimbo with a revolver than a rifle any idea
Well... .22 LR is ( in my opinion ) a amazing caliber ( for sport shooting ) @Dllama4

Actually the .22 LR is effective 400+ meters @Dllama4
👋 BOI! @Dllama4
.22 LR has an effective range of 150 yards. I'm pretty sure you can shoot the other to rounds to 800-1000 Yards or more.
Yep @Dllama4
.22 Long Rifle?
But... .22 flies farther then both of them @Dllama4

@TheLatentImage I have, it's not too big of an issue either, it's just strange
@Flightsonic maybe restart your device?
@TheLatentImage Alright, it's probably me then, it reloads the page as soon as I click on something for some reason
@Flightsonic I can't recall any website updates within the last two weeks.
@TheLatentImage Just seems to be performing a little odd, but that could be my end, and about 2 weeks I've been gone
@Flightsonic uhhhh.... I don't know. I'm not sure how long you were gone or when you came back. Have you noticed anything different or new?
@TheLatentImage And while you're here, were there any minor site updates while I was gone?
@Flightsonic well you had it right, just wanted to let you know.
@TheLatentImage Oh, lol, I'm no gun expert
@Flightsonic just wanted you to know that you were not incorrect in saying that .308 is bigger in diameter than the .270

Lol, @KillShot86
Thank you for correcting me... I am a official idiot @TheLatentImage
But interesting... though, .270 is bigger @TheLatentImage
