I have one of those showers where it has that point when you turn it up 1/100th of an inch the water suddenly turns into lava. The water starts to get cold, so I turn the knob then realize "crap, I passed the point" time goes into slow motion and I contemplate the last few moments of my life and my skin starts to boil off of me. I jump out of the shower, and I open the window. It's freezing outside, like 20 degrees. The 500 degree temperature change made me light headed, and I promptly collapse on the floor for a second.
