I have seen too many copy cats taking people's beautiful creations (including some of mine) and either copy them , or make them hideous by adding engines in order to beat the Land Speed Record. With a description of "Upvote Me" to top it all off. (For the record, some of the "copy cats" are new and are not aware of the rules, so they don't count.).
Anyone have any suggestions (besides reporting to mods?).
Thanks!
@PyrusEnderhunter Thanks for the advice!
@PioneerKat well no. That does not. If you take a noticeable part of a plane and add it to another however, it is best to give credit to the creator of the part due to the fact that it is respectful.
Does taking a part of an airplane and save it as a sub assembly count? E.g. a roundel.
Well I had thought on what could be done about this but I think the mods do a pretty good job of helping with these sorts of issues
@Externaldarkness @AudioDud3 best ideas ever
I normally link them to the rules but the mods told me to tag them on the post that is breaking the rules.
Just tag a mod, it's part of their job to deal with this.
report and tell them
Str8up ignore
Just link them to the rules and let them know that they shouldn't be doing that. Just be friendly about it.
