@MaximusTheMinimus best thing you can do disassemble it clean out the dust reassemble the computer boot it up update the software and there you have it however if it starts to smoke call the fire service

@MaximusTheMinimus probably no where near as strict as a Russian school especially in 1970's example no child was allowed to leave class to go to the loo they got home work every night they got up to 40 Page's of work each night and they had to bring it back in the morning or they'd have a ruler whacked across the wrist no kid these days would last in the school I was in which collapsed a few years after I left. for reasons unknown it had collapsed witch confused a lot of people as the building was supposedly structurally sound

@Externaldarkness ooh. Yeah I'm not not going to a repair shop now after reading that. worse still, mine has been sitting in a garage for maybe 5, 6 years. it has a huge case, but tiny components. That IS good for airflow, just not for doing anything.

@Externaldarkness I'm GETTING my own PC. Were doing a RAID setup so we need the same memory card ( Is that the correct part? ) twice. it's probably going to be complete sometime near October.

@MaximusTheMinimus and ask for your own computer if he complains about it being so expensive tell him that you need it for school work as well as games

@MaximusTheMinimus its cheaper to replace do you have a sandisc memory card or any other memory card ? If you do replace put your simple planes into the memory card and transfer your copy from one device to another

@saturn28 Meh, I can break anything. I might not get it on Steam, so that is ruled out. my dad doesn't let me use his PC even if it's for an important project concerning the next semester of 6th grade, yeah, sooo....

@saturn28 not sure how much it costs to get fixed at a hardware or electronic store, definitely won't do it myself. ( 11yrs, + tech fixes = Chaos, explosion, panic, total havoc.)

@saturn28 when i get home tommorrow im sealing it in a plastic ziplock so no dust gets in the cooling or CPU. ( or worse, the graphics engine. )
