So SP has been acting weird lately on my totally legit super hyper computer (10 year old macbook Pro). Right now I cannot open SP, the window opens but the window itself is just black. I've tried restarting the game, then my computer. Still nothing. I power off my laptop and leave it for around an hour, and power it up again. I open SP, no difference. I have a feeling that I might have to delete and reinstall my game (I bought it off of steam), but that means losing my projects that have really come along :(
If anybody know any other solutions I could really use em'. Thanks

@aircraftarsenal123 If your creations are safe, try deleting the game's folder, and download it again from Steam. Hopefully it works.
Yes @JovianPat
@aircraftarsenal123 Make sure your creations are safe. Not sure how to properly uninstall it, but when you open the game, does it still show a black screen?
And I saved the entire unity.jundroo.simpleplanes folder to a flash drive@JovianPat
lol, I dunno, I just was to lazy to delete the other one... And um, I know I'm a noob, but uh, how do I delete SP from my computer. I've tried right clicking the game in my library and clearing local content. But SP's logo never actually went away, and I could still open the game despite an "uninstalled" status from steam. I'm very confused @JovianPat
@aircraftarsenal123 I think the Steam version has a different directory, but why would you want two versions? XD
@aircraftarsenal123 Ok, backup the AircraftDesigns folder somewhere, and uninstall your game. Then after reinstalling, try playing the game first. If it works fine, copy the (backup) AircraftDesigns folder to the original destination.
@Alienbeef0421 Oh yea :P
Wait, if the app is from steam, would the macbook treat it the same as if it were to be downloaded from the app store? And I currently have both the app store version and the steam version downloaded at the same time. Would that affect anything? @JovianPat @Alienbeef0421
EDIT: I found it, some sort of view setting was blocking it
@JovianPat you may want to start the game first.
And I couldn't find the app support folder, I think it might be a hidden folder for some reason. I went into finder and searched "AircraftDesigns" a name match showed up but no folder was visible. Do you think I could access it from the Root user?@JovianPat
I don't know if it does or not. I do know that when I first downloaded the app off of steam, my Lotus 125 was preloaded (?) @Alienbeef0421
Try locating your AircraftDesigns folder (it's named like that) on your Macbook :
/Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/unity.Jundroo.SimplePlanes/AircraftDesigns/
The AircraftDesigns folder contains the files of all your creations. Backup them somewhere, uninstall and reinstall the game, and return the (backup) AircraftDesigns folder to the original place. Hopefully it works.
I thought Steam saves your unuploaded stuff to you cloud...
@EliteIndustries1 I know how computers work. It was a joke
No, delete and re-install. Sorry. This is why you frequently upload priority projects as unlisted.
Take the cartidge out and blow on it. Then put it back in.
(I don't own a computer so I use IOS)
