I've been trying to make a realistic unimog and i have the suspension and bodywork nailed, but it just cant do steep ascents. I can give it more power and grip, but then the wheels just skip and bounce. What i really need is lower gearing. Is this possible to do with XML or does it have to be a mod?
My new version has 2000 hp, still doesn't help. @Alienbeef0421
@LiamW ayyyy at least it don't bounce
Mod the car engine. power=1000
then I would need more power which creates the same problem again @Alienbeef0421
@LiamW why not make the unimog heavier?
@EliteIndustries1 high settings. It only happens on 30+ degree slopes
Down below there's a couple of links. Try the non-military version. @EliteIndustries1
I've got it pretty soft already. It does stop when I brake but it starts the instant I hit a bit of throttle again @EliteIndustries1
I would appreciate it if you could test it @EliteIndustries1
I apologise, but I did say under 5mph before @EliteIndustries1
I'm beginning to get the idea you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and are no help to me at all. Correct me if I'm wrong and you have a deep insight into mechanics of rockcrawlers and xml @EliteIndustries1
Tried, doesn't work. Even xml modding traction to 400%. I just need the wheels to move slower with the same amount of power @EliteIndustries1
The thing is, it's going 5mph, suspension fully extended and it isn't hitting bumps. What's happening is, as the front wheels get less weight on them, they have less grip, but the wheels are still spinning full speed and they touch the ground and bounce up and away. @EliteIndustries1
Here's the unimogs I've made: this and this
I've tried having wheel suspension on, but it seems to make it worse in this case. Just one of those simpleplanes glitches. @EliteIndustries1
