Jet engines not looking forward when the plane was loaded doesn't work

For example, you have a jet engine looking up and connected to a rotator so, it still says the engines aren't getting air, even when you use the rotator to have the face forwards. Another thing to mention is, when the engines are activated, they emit this black effect instead of flames. Logically, it should still receive air when looking up like this.

An engine connected to a rotator instead of directly to a plane will not hook up to the planes intakes, it makes sense if you think about it. So it's not a glitch, you just have to put an inlet on the engine that is attached to the rotator

From what I can tell of this issue from my experience trying to make thrust-vectoring engines, there is logic in the program where attaching a rotator to an engine interrupts the flow of air to the engine. You're right, if you stick an engine onto a fuselage without an intake, if the front of the engine (compressor face) is exposed, it will still get air. Unfortunately, sticking it onto a rotator interrupts the flow.

ehm I've never had this when i had no air intakes, its maybe a good idea to fit them onto the plane, if u already have idk what the problem is.

Use inlets, they are required for almost every plane
