Combat in Japan:
UDCs Pacific Task Force (PTF) first saw combat in the amphibious invasion of Tokyo. A beachhead was quickly established, but a slight hindrance to quick movement was the destruction of a series of bridges across different inlets of Tokyo Bay, requiring the use of river float bridges as well as barges to get weapons and equipment across.
Combat in Tokyo was fierce. Street to street fighting, flamethrowers, and GPMGs in street windows. Attack helicopters hovering just above street level firing their 25mm chain guns at enemy troops in third story windows. Tanks saw the heaviest fighting, shooting their 120mm cannon at close range at RWA armor. Some reports say that when Scorpions fired their main cannon, buildings would collapse from the muzzle blast.
After 4 months, Tokyo was taken. The following months were a series of major retreats and re invasions.
The only change in the war came during the 5-prong invasion of Japan. Unfortunately, PTF saw its last combat action 19 months after the war began, when UDC was pushed out of Japan. PTF suffered the most casualties, at 900,000 PMCs, 195 tanks, and surprisingly, only 120 aircraft.
Combat in Africa:
UDCs African Task Force (ATF) first saw combat relatively late in the war, only two months before the end of the war. Relatively little was accomplished, making it the "forgotten front" of the conflict. Fighting started when 155mm artillery fired on the capital of the RWA. The ATF was woefully outnumbered, making combat one sided. Thermobaric missiles hit the capital, but had little effect. The last two months of the war were a mix of failed assaults and useless assassinations.
The final tally: 200,000 men, 55 tanks, and 205 aircraft.
Conclusion:
The RWA is a formidable foe with very large amounts of determination. Any future conflicts will be taken much more seriously.
@NirvashTec I didn't even use RAILGUNS...
I agree completely @AccipitrisEnterprises
@Pilotmario
@PyrusEnderHunter thanks!
@Alix451 oki. by the way: gr8 job on dis
@PyrusEnderHunter Pacific Task Force. The forces that fought in Japan
But the fact that the enemy used a 230mm Plasma Gun..? Not good. It's simply too OP for the time.
It's very out of place and overpowered considering that the current season is set in the year 2010.
but what is the PTF?
I like this: not that biased
@JakeTheDogg lmao
