Hello
As some of you know, I have devoted much less time to SimplePlanes than usual so I can have more for my RC planes.
However, leaving the community meant leaving some unfinished work.
One of this being my Dornier Do X. I never announced I was building one because I doubted I would finish. This is where you come into play.
The work that needs to be finished is the empennage, nose, rear fuselage, underside, and wingtips.
I would highly recommend that a computer user with Fine Tuner takes over, for as a high part count and tilted parts were used.
If interested, please leave a comment and I will post it.
@DandruffCat nah I live out the mountains of Montana, in the middle of the woods, by a lake lol
@MrSilverWolf lol, I'm guessing you live near an RC field like I do.
Also, I'd recommend this. It's a ready to go with everything. It can fly itself and is what I learned off of. Just expect to invest thousands after you learn!
@DandruffCat and I was interested in RC aircraft but I keep crashing every RC thing I have so I decided that isn't a good thing to spend my money on
(And I sort of still am into the whole RC thing, but I'm not good at it lol)
@DandruffCat it is, I saw maybe 30 of them today lol
@MrSilverWolf wonder why. The 172 is much more popular
@DandruffCat and I think your the first person not to call it a 182, every one thinks it's a 182 lol, idk why but every time some one is at the airport and sees it they ask if it's a 182 lol
@DandruffCat well it's the clubs plane that I use for training
@MrSilverWolf Is that your 172?
@MrSilverWolf I will upload a public post for the Dornier just in case others want to use it as a building base, rather than making it look scale. Also, yes, I am doing RC planes. Are you interested as well?
@DandruffCat and I see you do more RC things, planes I'm guessing?
@DandruffCat so do you want to give me the link here in this post to the build or would you rather tag me on the build?
@MrSilverWolf Good luck! And yes, I left a while ago, around November if I'm right.
And you are leaving? If so have a great time doing what ever your doing off of SP!
Sure, I'd love to take it over for you, that build looks like something up my ally
