I'm still here. Heres what I'm doing now

If you couldn't tell, I'm crazy about RC planes.

I was also visited by someone yesterday.

@Fishbowl1121 it will help, but you would have to get rid of the ailerons. Adding roll to a plane your learning off of can put you in bad positions

@Fishbowl1121 do you know how to fly a non-self leveling aircraft?

The controller is actually $60. Even better!

@Fishbowl1121 Yes, it is a cheaper approach. Scratch building can be a fun project to do. The hardest challenge is getting it to fly, unfortunately. You also have to know that the electronics you get are ones that will work well with each other. If you scratch build, you will have to get a controller as well. I think there's a new one on the market called the DXe. It's around $100 and will serve you well for a while. It has six channels, which means that you can add retracts and flaps.

@Fishbowl1121 I did have to save up for that plane. However, there is a much smaller version that comes ready to go with the controller and all of those goodies. It's $130 and self levels. It's what I learned off of so I'd definitely recommend it! Here it is.

@Fishbowl1121 it's modeled after the CubCrafter's Carbon Cub SS. The rc one is made by Eflite, and is called the Carbon Z Cub. Carbon Z is the foam it's made out of, which has carbon fiber infused in it.

@Fishbowl1121 Here's a video of it. I fly it more like a cub though.

@Fishbowl1121 it's actually quite fast. It has a big motor which is power hungry. That's why it has a 25 volt battery

@Fishbowl1121 it is. The struts are just for scale looks. There's a carbon fiber spar in there.

Miss you on MP, you probably haven't caught wind of what I've been doing for the past 2 months, I'm a blithering idiot for wasting on something that could've took me about 3 weeks. Good to see you still here.
