So, on the custom color palette, the 13th color on the list (bottom row, center) is this really interesting steel blue color. But, the sliders display the color as a straight grey color and if you try and adjust the steel blue, it turns grey and never comes back. Anyway, I'm trying to make it extra glossy (m="1" s="1"), but it doesn't seem to be taking. PLUS, there's two extra colors listed in the XML file than what's available on the palette--what's up with THAT?!?
@ChiChiWerx np
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Yes, it did work, thank you!
@ChiChiWerx did my advice work
Slate gray is bluish @ChiChiWerx
@Alienbeef0421 I guess, but it's definitely blue-ish
@ChiChiWerx @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation its slate gray
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation IKR?
Also that Steel Blue colour is always there, it's so weird because it is impossible to make it on the colour slider.
@ChiChiWerx also, Every time you make XML changes and save, NO MATTER WHAT, it won't show up on Simpleplanes, you have to save the plane that's in the designer after you XML modded it's colour, and then load it again. I had this issue.
@ChiChiWerx make the "s" to 8000, it works every time for me.
@Tully2001 ok, will try to set all to "1"
@Tully2001 they're both set to "1"
@Tully2001 I'm trying to adjust the colors and glossiness right now, but am having a lot of trouble doing it, which annoys me because I've modded the XML before to do the extra glossy finish. I open the XML file (not the .bak) file, adjust the color code using the one from hex color, plus the m and s values and hit save. When I open up the designer, NOTHING changes...what am I doing wrong?
