While doing trial runs on my tournament contestant, I noticed that I was suffering from screen tearing (where the top part of the screen is out of alignment with the remaining 2/3-3/4th of the screen). Any settings to change to get rid of it? Maybe VSync could do it but I didn't see an option for it in the in-game menu.
Specs:
LaCie Electron IV BLue IV 20" 1280×1024 at 127Hz.
i7-3880 3.6Ghz
Sapphire Rx 480 Nitro+ 8GiB edition.
Win7 SP1.
same thing here
Guess I'll try running it with it disabled then.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
edit
Seems the problem persists regardless of VSync state.
Guess I'll just have to live with it then.
@NishiKinuyo Vsync actually causes the screen tear. It's a lot of shmancy stuff as to why but i can tell you that for sure.
@ThatOnion
Then it is doubly weird that I get screen tearing since VSync exists to remove it.
So with it enabled I shouldn't be having it.
Maybe my hardware is so OP that it needs triple buffering as well; and I'm not sure if this game has it. :D
Anyhow, thanks for the help.
If you look on the game files there will be .xml file for the settings and you'll see a variable along the lines of "Vsync=" it is set to 1 by default (active) so change this to 0 to turn it off.
