The New Portum Map event has blown up in popularity over the past few weeks, so I have some important announcements, as I am beginning my final phase of the map mod. Keep in mind though, that the final phase of the mod is by far the most hefty part, as it involves putting all of your buildings into the mod.
Also, I accidentally planned a ton of stuff for the following weeks, which may interfere with New Portum as well as that Colony ship challenge.... Don't worry though. Everything will be finished sometime!
This post is quite important to everyone who has entered in the architecture challenge for the New Portum Map.
The Challenge has Closed.
The architecture challenge has closed! Do not worry if you still have some finishing touches to do on your entry. Late entries WILL be accepted, but please do not start on your entry today!

Important entry information.
As I said, all entries in the architecture challenge will be added into the map's city. This comes with a few conditions though, to make sure that all buildings fit with the theme and style of the map.
Almost all entries will be modified in some way, whether that is color scheme, level of detail, or some structural features.
Some requests of building placement and location may not be fulfilled. I am doing my best to satisfy your requests, but I will not be able to satisfy 100% of the requests that I receive.
So, if I modify your entry, I will upload an unlisted post of the modified structure, so you will know what building is yours. I will include a list of changes in the description of the unlisted post. Please do not take offense to me making edits, as almost all entries will be edited. I honestly appreciate every entry in this competition.
If your entry has not been modified, then I will tell you on your entry.
This will delay the mod release, but it is necessary for organizational purposes, as well as informing the participants.
To-Do list.
This is mostly for my sake, but it may interest you. If you do not have any context, and are confused by this list, then you should read the "Mod progress" section.
- Add shuttle pads, ramps, runway, etc to spaceport
- Add mooring spacecraft around spaceport
- Add dock/harbor
- Add city
- Add some outposts
- Add relevant locations.
That's a lot! It might be a little while.
Mod Progress
Here's some screenshots of what I have so far, as well as some context to the screenshots.
Terrain finished, with roadways and plenty of beaches.
Some notable features of the terrain are a large highway scaling the mountain, various small roads, a lake, and a coral reef. This picture features an WIP hovercraft of mine, too. It will be released fairly soon.
Other than the city, this spaceport will be my favorite part of the map. More will be added to it, and it is repairing and serving an Excision Class Dreadnought MkII by the player Ephwurd.
Concerning the Colony Ship challenge
I am beginning the judging! I estimate that it will take a little under a week to judge everyone, and I still have some participants who need to submit their entries.

@Bill0411 A few weeks. I have a ton of real-life obligations that will take priority over the mod. Plus I will still do some SP playing and leisure so I don't burn out when making the map.
