Why are there barely any steam mods and what is a source code?

For mac, you cannot get mods if you have the mac store version of the game, if you have the steam version you can.
how do yo u download them on mac I thought that apple didn't support mods on mac
@Mookr mods can run on mac, not on iOS, it even says PC/Mac

yes, but crApple doesn't allow mods to be installed on crApple devices

@RailfanEthan Ik but I have a mac and I can't download mods on mac and I don't have an android all I have is steam but there are only like 15 steam mods (btw your profile picture is awesome)
