After leaving town, Richard (the Blue Shy Guy) finds his way to the Koopa Den inaccessible to him and his friends, so he takes another path to Koopa City. He arrives to see the local Koopas being harrassed by Fuzzies, who are stealing their clothes. One of the victims is Kooper, who asks Richard for assistance in getting his favorite shirt back. Richard then chases the thieving Fuzzies down and manages to retrieve the shirt. Upon returning it, Kooper is so grateful, he joins the police department alongside Richard.
