@SimpleStudent In retrospect yeah nah this would be impossible through XML. But, if there was a feature where we could add our own sound files to engines and other noisy parts... that would be cool af.
@sexylips35 yesterday, I was thinking how odd it was that my turbo prop sounded the same after I altered the propeller.
I used to work on E-2c's. Their propellers were 13' 6" across. That added a very deep note to the sound. It was a turbo prop so it sounded different from behind. More jet noise from that angle. Something to consider in fly-by view.
The mod should be user's choice.
The sound of a prop or jet engine is effected by many factors. The number of blades on a propeller or primary compressor plane. The length and shape of the blades. What drives the blades; jet or recip. engine, and its size, horse power, # of pistons.
There are more. I'll leave it there.
The mod should select separate factors, combine them, and simplify the output file for use.

@jamesPLANESii how'd you think we would do it in a compact manner? like an actual opinion not testing you
It'd be cool if we could XML mod engine sounds to custom ones so we can have cool sound effects...
