I think that this could be the, if not one of the fastest piston driven unmodded planes in the entire game. 734 mph. I think that I've also hit the speed limit when it comes to props, considering I can't push it much faster than this. Oh, yes, I'd like to add that it is slightly modded considering it uses a weightless, unlimited fuel source, so please keep that in mind.

Yes, I made a very lightnplane with lots of lift and several turboprops in the nose. Then I put in only a little fuel @CrazyCodeC
I've also hit mach1 with an inpractical turboprop.

@Alienbeef0421 Just for completeness, I will point out that I used parts with collisions disabled on that plane. Also, check out the Eagle Pass tournament to see things going faster without an engine.
Check the prop class tournaments. You'll see planes go 754mph. BUT
