My newest aircraft has a warp functionality, which was achieved by using detachers for propulsion. This warp jump accelerated the aircraft instantly to over 50,000 mph, and through the duration of the warp jump, the craft traveled 250 miles. Here's a gif of the warp jump:
@AircroftDesigin cool. I look forward to it
@spefyjerbf ok but ill link you to my aircraft when I upload it
@AircroftDesigin I'm too busy for RPs at the moment, so i cannot.
@spefyjerbf ok thanks and if you want to join in/help in my new rp just ask thx
@AircroftDesigin I emphasize intelligent usage of beacon lights. They can really enhance a build. Also, some color is good, but don't make it a rainbow.
Hi@spefyjerbf im a couple of hours away from uploading my first ever futuristic thing (some of your weapons may end up on it) do you have any tips?
btw big fan of your builds
@MAHADI I had to do some pretty advanced techniques for placing the CoM on this one, but once when I knew where the CoM was, I had to place the detachers on a location that is very close to them. The detachers are actually front-mounted, as they produce negative thrust, which means that they pull the aircraft toward them, instead of pushing the aircraft away from them.
THAT'S AMAZING...
how do you do it? where do you place the detachers?
Jeez that thing is sturdy!
@spefyjerbf I used the detacher idea on my Spectre VTOL for the unique takeoff. Like the idea, might need to implement it on my Void...
Thanks. I might try that. @BogdanX
@MechWARRIOR57 Wings modded not to bend are key for a good warp aircraft.
ive made warp-capable aircraft too! but they didn't really go above 3000 mph
