@helilover03 No it has nothing to do with that. Upvotes don't show a builds quality. For example, Salvador, he got 50+ upvotes on builds he either stole or barely changed, or builds that were ugly, slow, and not very close to the replica. (This is just my opinion).

It's decided when a mod or dev sees it on the website, most likely flies it, checks the details, how well balanced it is maybe, and if it is deemed good enough to be featured.

I know it isn't decided upon by upvotes because I've seen a featured plane, with only 1 upvote. Then, within 10 minutes it shot up to 10.
@MrVaultech yeah, im pretty sure you're top highlighted build gets featured when you hit platinum
Platnium player can get a creation featured if he/she havent had any of his/her builds featured before.
I've seen a Platinum user or two up on the featured before

Yeah, its the devs/mods that can feature planes that are from gold or lower ranked users that are good enough to be on the front page
