Does anyone find structure(s) to generate a [reverse effect] of wind?

I am planning to build a galleon (between spanish and british type) but has no idea about how to make the lateens really workable. Does there anyone have some ideas to solve that?

I'm pretty sure that's impossible sorry. What they probably really did is they sailed 45° to the wind and rotated their sails to catch the wind there and move forward. @N661US

Ohh so the wind blows from the wrong side of the sail yet the sails still catch the wind on the correct side? @N661US

@jamesPLANESii You know that lateens can make the force of wind pull, instead of pushing the ship

You can't reverse rhe wind, perpetual machines aren't possible.
However youncan make really big wobbly wings wich produce lift and acceleration when flapping.
