I'm almost done with my latest build, but when I finished my custom gear, it now veers dramatically off the runway and crashes. I know you can adjust traction--forwards and sideways, but I've made multiple adjustments up and down the scale and it doesn't seem to have any effect--any tips or tricks I might use to tame the landing gear issue?
@ChiChiWerx ok! Interesting project) you can do a range than, su-9, su-17, with triangle, swept and variable sweep wings)
@vonhubert I'm working on an Su-11 now, if/when I encounter problems with the landing gear, I will post it unlisted and tag you. I am sure to have problems.
@ChiChiWerx hm... so far i didnt see such thing. Although i have some troubles with convair on crosswing landings, it veers violently into the wind after touchdown, but i suspect this is of different origin. Can i see a patient?) On which speed it happens?
@vonhubert I fixed this one, it was my JA37. I fixed it by using the stock double tire wheel instead of 2 resizeable wheels for the nose gear, which instantly solved my veering problems. However, I might need help on my current build, will let you know. BTW, do you know what causes the resizeable wheels to veer at high speeds when used for custom built landing gear? Also, how do you avoid this problem?
can you send it to me? i can take a look.
@Kevinairlines yes, absolutely
What to se my new chopper? @ChiChiWerx
Ok thanks it will be my first camo! @ChiChiWerx
@Kevinairlines the custom gear is fixed, I am almost done with this latest build, but I've been busy the past couple of days and haven't had the time to finish it up, but it takes off absolutely straight now, finally!
@Kevinairlines for your camo, use Overload and adjust all the mass for your camo "pieces" to .1, or less--absolutely critical if you want to end up with a flyable aircraft!
I am good lol typos @ChiChiWerx
Dood I just spent 4 hours tweaking the f-4 and I think I am going to try tiger meat any tips
And I a, goo at fixing costume gear
And and when you fully upload this can you make the tail it looks like a pan in the ... on iOS @ChiChiWerx
@WalrusAircraft no need, all fixed, I'll look out for the Backfire when you post it, thanks.
I should send you a photo of the custom landing gear my son had made for the Backfire. If you are still having trouble, just let me know.
