Mass changes the amount of force the bullets apply to their target. High mass destroys bridges, and throws convoy trucks up in the air. High rate of fire is best for close range (think assault vehicle), and high mass is effective in how it throws convoy tanks to their peril.
@MechWARRIOR57 can you explain what exactly the mass and caliber parameters do? Eg higher mass makes bullets slow down faster, caliber does more damage
@PersonOfTheUniverse9YT fireRate probably, though it’s been a while. I think the other parameters changed though
@spefyjerbf what would the XML variable be called?

Caliber has no effect, mass makes your bullet provide more damage.
When bulletmass is 1100 or higher, it will destroy the bridge.
they don't change the speed, or anything, speed is changed by muzzle velocity @legitscoper

they don't make it explosive or anything, but making them high means you will destroy the bridge or the carriers in one hit
