Nier:Automata is a pretty neat game, and anyone who's played it will have seen its incredibly complicated transforming mecha flight suit. Personally, I felt it would be pretty cool to build a faithful replica here, and so I present a few teaser pics of the most ridiculous mass of hinges and rotators ever conceived. It's still missing a few parts and doesn't fly as of yet. 60 rotators. 600+ parts. x_x

Update:
All extra control surfaces have been added and animated with even more rotators.. I don't even want to count them now, it's getting stupid. More importantly, flight control has been added, taking advantage of all the recent SP updates. VTOL flight is dead easy and incredibly stable. VTOL up turns up the hover thrusters, and standard thrust is main forward engines. It uses a gyro for better hover control, which seamlessly takes over the standard flight controls as the wings lose lift. No fumbling with action groups. My best VTOL i've ever made.
