@SajabAerospace Great! The main visual difference (aside from the camera lenses themselves) is the nose. Foxbat' s nose was designed around a MONSTROUS radar, but such heavy and expensive equipment is unnecessary for ground attack or recon. So the RB features a narrower nose and does not have a large, dark cone of dielectric material at the tip.
Man, I am really excited that more people (you) are taking an interest in this jet. It really was an amazing mix of cutting edge design and wildly outdated equipment. Like some kind of stainless steel monster, designed by mad scientists.
Cool! Which Foxbat are you going to do? I made a Foxbat-P, early model interceptor. I've also seen a very good Foxbat-PU two-seat trainer on here somewhere. In my opinion, no one has paid much attention to the Foxbat-RB recon/bomber variant yet, and I would love to see one. Recon missions are super dangerous, and no one ever builds the planes except the Blackbird. Anyway, check mine out, let me know what can be improved, ok?
