There's nothing horribly wrong about them, but they're not front page material. A good plane needs clean, precisely placed details on a smoothly constructed body. Make use of materials and colors correctly, and then you have a better chance. It also needs to actually fly well, otherwise its just a pretty frame with no substance. Also, spending hours on a plane is nothing. A high quality build should take days.

Nothing wrong with them, it's just that you've only been on for a year. After that year, if you stay active, you'll slowly get more followers and thus upvotes. That's what happened to me. Also don't complain, no matter how hard it is, cos that puts people off big time

Thats for me to know and you to find out :p, i still have access to that acct, but i feel like i would be making it too hard for newer players if i used it. My building style, or rather, lack of it, is all the hints you shall get. @WEAPONSMITH

@WEAPONSMITH It seems that all of my former Navy and black-themed planes were decently built, but were unpopular as the two colors had not much contrast. The Espirit, which was an actually okay plane, was maroon and black, and that made it hard to see. I have had slightly more success with my recent planes, the Elysee lineup.

I would try more details and more Interesting paint schemes. Your planes don't really catch my eye yet because they are such dark colors. Also, focus on the aethstetics of the craft, which obviously are important, but really keep that in mind. Not to be vain, but look at some of my successful builds to help give you an idea.

You're not the only one dealing with this.. If you really want attention put more detail into your planes, you make alot of planes, but many are not worth upvoting with today's standards. Your trucks are cool, you're not getting much feedback on those because the paint scheme may be realistic, but not very attractive, however none of this matters if you enjoy what you're doing, after all doing it for just the upvotes won't make you happy.

@humangrenade You could upload them as unlisted uf you just need to transfer those between devices.

@WEAPONSMITH i just finished building some detail under the plane like the blue part on Ryaniar it doesn't look too bad for first time doing that, I will add the lines somewhere if they will look good

My plane with the most upvotes was a helicopter without any detail. The reason it was trending for is, that it was a really stable heli in times before gyros (7 months ago).
One of my other things was a flying ball... jep, just a ball.
My conclusion is, that people dont download anything because you spent (spend, spendt?) hours on it, they download things because they fascinate them (like my smart bullets).

Its also good to have a 'base' that gives your planes a try, downloading them, then upvoting, which can kick them up, thats what happened with my old accr. Awesome planes BTW! wins upvotes from me

@WEAPONSMITH oh ok, i w ill try to make details for visible and making brighter colours for my airlines, i will continue making FlySides but making moe visible details
