As a person who has grown in points significantly quickly (achieved gold just 26 days after posting my first plane), I decided to make a guide to newer players on how to get more upvotes.
Don't spam planes.
Although there already is a rule on no more than 3 public planes per day, posting 3 crappy planes a day won't get you anywhere. Try making planes that take a few hours or even days worth of work. For example, most of my builds take days of dedication, and my current work in progress build, the Curtiss SC Seahawk, has already been in production for 3 days now. Spend time in your build, and if you do, it will pay off.Build stuff that isn't so common on the website.
This is my main strategy. I build planes that you don't really find on the website, meaning the chances of you getting attention is much increased. For example, if you decide to build a B-17, the chances of your plane getting noticed is quite low since there are at least 5 really good B-17's already. However, if you build a plane like an F2A Buffalo or a TBF Avenger, you are much more likely to get noticed since there aren't many good ones on the site.Build stuff you like.
Now this might mean you would build a more common plane, like a P-51 or a P-38. However, if you build something you like, you are much less likely to give up and more likely to do it well, because you like it. For example, all of the planes I build I actually like or are inspired by it, meaning I persevere.(OPTIONAL) Avoid iOS like the plague.
Now, I know there are many amazing people who can make awesome stuff on iOS, but it doesn't even come close to Android. On Android, you can use fine tuner and other awesome mods that can help you make better builds. I'm speaking from experience here too, I used to build on iOS on an old iPad, but when I discovered the website I transitioned to my phone, and I will never go back.
Well, there you have it. Piggie's tips on being more successful and getting more upvotes. Good luck!
@EpicPigster1 I can know use map mods but not other mods
@Kalanimcd disable the mods by going to the first page.
@Shmexysmpilot hahaha i know right!
"avoid iOS like the plague" DO THAT. iOS building is like swimming with an anchor chained to your leg

I true to upload a plane with mods but it says error mod enabled and when I have a non nodded plane it still says error
Some good sage advice here.
@Wakescar Nice!
The only device I have to build on is an iPad pro provided by my company for work.
Exclusively iOS 2+ years.
Gone platinum.
I agree with tip 4: the IOS is a weak tool to use for building planes, I've only gotten to platinum by pouring everything I could think of into my builds
@SlowJet :) lol, it is really good tho, i love it!
Yes, DO avoid iOS or you will end up like me
It's so much harder when you don't have mods
I'm sure we can all agree with No. 4, such a pain sometimes
@helilover03 lol ikr
Do mods
@Fjorge lol
@EpicPigster1... probably not...
@Fjorge it's ok, you make some cool planes, you will get to platinum in no time!
@EpicPigster1 No I am not
@Fjorge yes you are dude :)
I am not a successful player...
Can confirm #4
iOS stronk, almost 2 years.

@TU134 Yeah, I respect all of those people who can make amazing planes on iOS!
