I almost always use default yellow tracers on my builds, but I've always wondered what color the Air Force used for all those Browning M2's back in the Second World War. I've searched around on Google, but haven't turned up much. Anybody got a clue?
I know plenty of pilots didn't use tracers at all due to the misleading trajectories (tracers had different flight properties than regular ammunition), but I don't think that was the norm.
I Saw it. Is the B-29 going ok for you? @F104Deathtrap
@planelover400 This guy here posted a pretty decent B-29. No bomb doors or interior, but it looks great. Let me know how it runs on your machine. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/N02k6S/B-29-Lucy
Ok, awesome can't wait to test it out! @F104Deathtrap
@planelover400 EUREKA! It took me all night but I figured out a way to get the nose to fit together and made it work. I've got a long way to go, but that was the hardest part! We are in business, amigo!
@planelover400 Rough! Gavib (famous for his recent B-24) and I are trying to figure the nose out, but it's an uphill battle. I'm waiting to see how his turns out. I could make one without an internal cockpit, that would be pretty simple, but the real-deal is still pretty far out.
@F104Deathtrap how's the B-29 going?
@Rodrigo110 Thanks!
7.7mm MG’s tracers are white, 12.7mm MG’s tracers are green and red, 20mm Cannons tracers are white
Based on my memory, tracer colors on them 50 cals are a mix of red and green. Correct me if I'm wrong.
