Don't ever mirror moving parts, it's a nightmare picking through everything to find the bugged connection. Doors are tricky, I often control them with the landing gear command because trim controls often make them extend forward AND backward in ways that are undesirable. I can't tell you how many times I've exploded other people's planes by shutting the bomb bay doors too far.
On my liberator, while I was building the bomb bay doors, I made it so the only bit that was touching another part (not connected) was the rotator which opens it. When I had finished building it, I made the fusalarges which connected the bomb bay doors to the rotator smaller, so it was in the right place. It stops pieces from randomly connecting while you're building. It can also be used for anything that moves on this game.
... when I have to land on sand: it's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Assaulting Ice Base from Avalanche Airport is not cool either because turrets have the high ground.
On a serious note, some parts may have connected to the fuselage if the parts you mirrored were nudged.
Or if you messed with min/max rotator variables.

@jamesPLANESii @Reaper9 Ill look into it, thanks.
@TheOwlAce Well, you could delete unneeded connections in the XML or do what jamesPLANESii suggested.

@Reaper9 Thats the thing, one door opens like its suppose to and the other wont, even after I mirror the side that was working.
