I got the chance to visit an air museum today and actually got to see the DB601, Rolls Royce Merlin, Griffon and Bristol Hercules engines in person for the first time in my life, there were even parts of the Napier Sabre III engine. They look so much bigger in real life than they look on pictures and stuff, it's overwhelming. What an awesome day... also I'm coming back tomorrow so expect some new builds!
@Visify can you make a piston engine that makes no torque on one side but is powerful? Put it on a subassembly table. It's not required.
@Visify quite funny coz what I really needed was a radial 14 or 18! Hs 129 is actually 14 and P61, 18. Only the do 17 might be worth doing with a radial 9, but that would komplikate tingz a lot... XD
@Visify correct. I met the guy at the flying legends last month.
@MethaManAircraft RB396? I heard about that, can't wait to see that thing fly! I read it would be done by 2022 or 2024.
@Visify aww... napier saber is big but not as big as I thought though. a guy is renovating a Typhoon to flight so we might see one flying in the next decades!
@MethaManAircraft Nope
@Visify nice! does that mean I am looking forward to radial 14 and 18 ?
Go to the simpleplanes blog, click on the Aero Effect thingy and read the description.

@Visify lit
Well I'm satisfied that the air force museum near my house has an F-86. And a C-123 too.
@RealQcan It's up to you, if this is what you like doing and if you have the time to do it you should go for it man, devs announced the 1.7 update is coming out this month!
@Visify thinking about it
@Flyboy360 Sounds like great fun, definitely going there one day!
@RealQcan Yes I do, hey man!!! Are you coming back?
Remember me?
That's sounds awesome!
