This is the beginning of my 3 part "Snowstone Incident" story. This is mostly written as a historical record.

Fall of Krakabloa:
January 24th 2015, 2:23 AM:
A Krakabloan patrol plane is shot down in the border of KB airspace. Soon after, two more patrols go radio silent. Accordingly, the Krakabloan Command Center goes to Alert Status 4, meaning possibility of an attack. Sure enough, just 14 minutes later, a fleet of unidentified planes charge towards the island, fully loaded with bombs and missiles. The KB Air Force was completely unprepared; the enemy had missiles with a 13 mile range and were able to pick off half the Desert Raiders before they could even get off a shot. The KCC goes to Alert Status 1, but civilian evacuation procedures fail, leaving the population defenseless. Remaining Desert Raiders are destroyed swiftly. Within 40 minutes, Krakabloa is captured by the invaders. The Grand Airship, along with Desert Eagle and the Experimental Air-Ground (EAGU) unit evacuate some citizens and military personnel. They hurry to the Wright Islands, who have recently become Krakabloa's allies.

Refugees on Wright:
January 25th 2015, 7:48 AM:
The archipelago's radio and television networks are hijacked and a broadcast is played. The mysterious enemies are identified as the Snowstone Empire, and they announce their planes of dominating the entire island system. The SSE had shown hostility in the past, but the dominance of the KKB suppressed all chances of a war.
"Obviously,", said the King of Krakabloa, "their technology has improved".
"Are you kidding me?", proclaimed the KM commander, "my entire fleet was picked off in 40 minutes!"
"Let's just calm down and prepare our defenses, Wright could put up a fight against them if we had more information" said the President of Wright.
Everyone agreed a spy plane needed to be sent to Snowstone. Unfortunately, the "Sneaker" and "007" spy planes were still on Krakabloa. The EAGU was chosen instead to infiltrate the island. It was outfitted with a radar dish, and it flew off to Snowstone...

10:24 AM at Snowstone:
The EAGU approached Snowstone and began initial radar scans. Flying almost 48,000 feet over the island, the radar picked up a massive ground army, hundreds of fighters, and 20 destroyers patrolling the waters. Most of all, there was a massive battleplane; over 5 times to size of the Grand Airship.
"Oh my god" rightfully proclaimed the pilot.
Just then, the missile lock alarm went off. He tried to find where the launcher was, and he found it was right on top of what seemed to be a hangar in side of the mountain. Thankfully, with his evasive maneuvers he was able to avoid the missiles in time to get out of range. Much to his relief, he was not follow. Apparently, the SSE wasn't too concerned with spies. At 11:04 AM, the EAGU safely returned to Wright.

A Plan is Made
January 26th 2015, 1:30 AM:
The leaders of both Krakabloa and Wright agreed to fight together to defeat the SSE. Maywar was also contacted, and they said they would help as well. Preparations were made for a full scale attack. However, things were complicated. At 4:12 PM, a small squadron of Reserve Desert Raiders, along with the Desert Hawk came flying into Wright Airport. They were indeed piloted by civilians and fighter pilots who had escaped capture. They had even more intelligence, intelligence that would soon erase all plans of an attack...
