Operation Savior Part 1 "Escaping hell"

36.2k DbE  7.2 years ago

It's a cold September morning in 1939. The Germans had just invaded Poland, and Sterne-Labor is trying to escape. Sterne-labor sent 6 ST-830s to Britain. They sent them in this month but on different days. This ST-830 contained blueprints of their future craft.

All is calm as the pilots laugh over a joke made by a monitor but suddenly all is quiet as one pilot spots a German light fighter approach. The Pilots start to panic and try to radio nearby British hangars for help.

As the German craft nears it does various maneuvers to ensure the ST-830 isn't armed. Then the attack begins.

A pilot get's shot and the remaining pilot tries to regain stability only 800 ft off the ground. He yells at his comm "GERMAN AIRCRAFT NEAR BRITAIN! MAYDAY MADAY!"
all is silent.

Over at a RAF base the brits hear the message and send a modded Defiant MK1 to take care of the light fighter and to avenge the men who died trying to escape.

Soon enough the fighter arrives at the location of the crash. Only a floating fuselage that had been flattened. The pilot of the fighter had spotted the German aircraft and told his gunner to be ready.

The Defiant MK1 soon enough caught up with the German craft that had started heading to Germany. The fighter was made of light and agile materials and was weak to anything. As he sat there the pilot compared the dark shape to a butterfly about to be captured by the mouth of a bird. The German pilot had not noticed him as his cockpit was open and his engine was loud. The British pilot with years of training held firm and..... he fired.

The first few shots missed but the 5th hit the tail. The German pilot began evasive maneuvers and the British pilot found that he was skilled but flawed. The German didn't know the maneuverability of his craft as he pitched up slowly and soon enough the layers of bullets coming at him hit his engine as he came crashing down.

The British had won this fight but one of millions were to come. The RAF assured Sterne-Labor that their aircraft could now make it to Britain with British patrols all over the area.

To be continued, stay tuned for part 2.

Just write it in a text editor and copy/paste it into a forum post. It's much easier and less cringey.
