Wondering why I didn't post this week?
I'M GETTING AN UPGRADE.
From the Frankenputer (Acer Aspire 4736Z + Dell Genesis 1707FP) to a full scale PC!
It'll be an AMD-based build, and luckily I have an old system unit case lying around.
The Basic Specifications
Clock Speed: 3.6GHz base /4.0GHz boost
1.8GHz 8GB system RAM
4GB graphics RAM (aka the allocated graphics memory)
650 Watts
250GB / 1TB combo
Okay, okay. Here's the part list.
AMD A10-7860K CPU
Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3P motherboard
Kingston HyperX 8GB 1866MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon RX 460 2048MB GPU (will work with the Integrated graphics, if possible)
Corsair VS650 Active PFC PSU
1TB and 250GB Seagate 7200rpm HDDs
Accessories:
-one 120mm fan (intake, because AMD CPUs are freakishly hot)
-another 100mm fan (exhaust, because why not? Aerodynamic airflow XDDD)
Now my PC does not include a CD-ROM drive, because I usually don't use it. Maybe in a later upgrade...
Footnotes:
-I haven't bought the parts yet, tomorrow maybe
-Too much Life of Boris got me painting three white diagonal pinstripes in the cover XD.
-If ever it gets some interior lighting, it'll just be plain white. I don't like RGB by the way.
Do we expect mods?
-Idk
Better planes?
-Maybe.
Till next time,

SCREW IT, MY BROTHER PUSHED ME TO BUY A LAPTOP INSTEAD.
It's an HP Notebook 14-AM65TX.
- Intel Core i3, 2GHz
- AMD Radeon R5 Graphics, 2GB memory
- 4GB RAM
- 14" LED screen
@Alienbeef0421 ok
I was considering WT by the way. Ill be telling you if I start playing WT @DOX
@Alienbeef0421 but the thing is getting into gaming aswell will be difficuilt and remember ur i3 is a slimmed down version of an i3 so its even less powerful than thatfor the same price i could build a pc thats 3 times better in performsnce . but for simple planes its fine but when you want to start to play games your gonna have diffucilty... btw want to play war thumder on steam if u want if u do hit me up
@DOX you're right.
But seriously, for $508 (₱25,990) its a powerhouse.
Intel Core i3-6006U
A terabyte of storage
Dank graphics, both the Radeon and Integrated
4GB RAM
I know I could've gotten a better one (same specs, but a core i5) but my problem is with the battery. In case it fails I can always remove and replace the battery with what I have (the other option had a nonremovable battery)
I got the inspiration from my cousin's pc, an Acer Veriton 6610G. Almost the same specs.
@Alienbeef0421 w8 can i get a link to the pc on amazon
@Alienbeef0421 you know an i3 is a dualcore right
@DOX meh, at least I can play it anywhere
@Alienbeef0421 u made a big mistake even with the graphics the price to perfomance will never be as good as a pc
@DOX yep, instead of a pc. I'm impressed by its performance.
@Alienbeef0421 w8 so u bought a laptop

I got A Fankenputer as well, it's barely like it was 10 years ago, and secondhand, and has had 3 rebuilds, and BARELY HOLDS TOGETHER. Just had to replace the whole PSU.
@Alienbeef0421 wait whats ur budget
@DOX it's quite expensive
Also, hyperthreading isn't a significant boost in gaming. It's more significant in other tasks i.e. video editing etc.
Lucky... Meanwhile Im still runing on an acer laptop that has been somewhat modded for more storage and ram...
or u u can go on pc part picker for compatibility
i would change the amd to the pentium g4560 . it has 4 hyperthreads and it uses tha 1151 motherboard cofiguration for the ddr4 ram
I wasn't wondering, but cool.
You so lucky man! I hope some day i could have a significant upgrade of my pc.
