Hello folks, i'm intressted in making a mod with slightly modifed weapons.

So i have watched all the Youtube Tutorials from the developers, readed the releated modding posts on reddit and i searched this forum and asked google to improve my knowldege.

Now it's the third evening i have spend to try some really simple modifications, like improving the missile range and adding an additional attachpoint on the inferno missile. Somehow once it worked and i had this modifed missile ingame but then i was about to create a similar missile, the mod disapered and did not show up ever again.

I'm using Unity 5.3.6f1 (somehow the visual studio cannot be imported when creating a new project) and the latest simple planes mod tools (02.09.2017).

So what did i do?

• Created a mod and imported the simple planes mod tools
• have cloned the inferno missile
• made changes in range, locktime and added an attachpoint more.
• saved the selected sceneobjects and assets

• saved the mod

• doubleclicked on the mod file in the explorer

• as soon simple planes starts, the modfile deletes itself.

at this point i really have no clue what i have done wrong and i couldnt find any solution except a post of Joco080 where he recommends to use unity 5.3.6 at the unity forum.

Since there are some great modders here (not sure how tagging works), please send help.
