I'm apparently in 1.7, but I can't seem to access the transform tool. Can anybody help?

Yeah what he said I had trouble too but I found out myself
Select a part in the editor, and an icon on the right will show up (it has an arrow). Click that, and at the top a image looking like a gear will show up. That's the transform tool.
