Can you make watertight compartments?

I tried to make a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) but when my prototype hits the water, it immediately fills with water up to waterline? Is my boat leaking or does physics engine automatically fill every non-solid area under waterline with water?

I'd appreciate any info.

Maybe a Mod can fix this :
You only need some Form of invisible
    Fuselage Block

BTW do you know how to embed links to forum posts?

@WNP78 @Gestour Thanks for info! Scrap that plan but at least I don't have to hunt for the leak :P

@Thomasj041 here is link to my unlisted prototype/experiment that demonstrates the problem https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/ab68Lu/Water-physics-experiment

Anything under the waterline is considered water by the physics, engine, it's not very sophisticated, as realistic fluid simulations are difficult to make and use lots of resources. The best idea would probably to make a thicker floor on your boat with the hope of hiding the water.

You need buoyancy to float. You can edit this with fuselage blocks, or use floating blocks.
