Engine Exhaust XML Question

23.2k XaFearedSniperx  7.2 years ago

So I’m working on a project and I’ve run into a problem where when I set the engine exhaust to 3,15,3 in Overload, the exhaust seems to almost thrust vector whenever I pitch the plane. If anyone would know how to fix this it would help out a lot!

Edit: The engine I’m using is a BFE150 and the power is multiplied by 20

    Oh ok
You know a bit about xml modding? I would ask you a favor: recently I posted a spitfire replica in which I used vtol nozzles like exhausts on the front of the plane. So would you be able to xml modify a vtol engine to be unpowered, or underpowered and very small? I will tag your name once the updated aircraft is posted @RyneKuczy

I meant the flame that comes out of the engine, back when I wrote this. @Opise227

So, the X scale would be on the global (east/west) axis relative to the world, instead of relative to the engine. I consider this a bug, but who knows.

I think the exhaust scale is global. There's nothing much you can do about it, I think.
