I may have figured out how automated gunner's and turrets could work.

So you know how missiles correct thier headings in mid air? What if we did that but for guns. So If I click on a vehicle the gun thats on a rotator set to free spin,it would automatically move as if it were using a gyro. And the way missiles work in game could make it so they lock on to a vehicle start shooting like the aa vehicles and the destroyer's. Idk if its possible. And a certain button that's on the menu ex:AG1,could toggle it.

I’ve tried, but generally the smoke from the missile lags the game and it’s very unpredictable; but the gun did actually point towards the enemy aircraft. Because of this, I’m going to experiment some more and find if I can make a safer model with more accurate gun aiming

@Flightsonic But if you make them heavy enough detach them they should at least pull the craft

@BlazeInfinity a few others and I tried, no avail though, missiles only like to correct their headings when independent from the craft

You know what, I actually tried this as a test (for a very different thing though) and it didn't work sadly

@5stars I think it’s actually possible, if you use a non-detaching missile, you can lock on to a vehicle/plane and then it would keep the turret it is on to follow it.
