The WWII prop engine uses a Curtiss electric prop hub, but what do the other prop engines use? Also, when we set the prop pitch to manual, the prop can go over speed, and break the engine, while real prop hubs would allow the pilot to adjust the prop angle, and then an internal governor would control engine speed to prevent over speeding. Why does this not happen in SP? -Gemista
@Gemista set the engine to AG8
@EternalDarkness but then the engine never shuts off. What I mean is that we should be able to choose a pitch, and be able to press a button to activate the governor to keep it from over speeding. The way it currently works is that the engine never shuts off, and the only form of control you have is prop pitch, which is unrealistic.
There is "Throttle governor" option when you set manual propeller pitch.
I also noticed the ww2 prop part is styled into an f4u corsair engine
