Progress! (Kinda)
I am proud to announce that the JN-4 is nearly done, and the project that i originally started has been left in the dust!
So what do i have left? For the Jenny, I need to install the aileron servos, and put in the motor and its components.
The Bush Plane, which I will now deem the "Duck" (Ducks are very meaningful to me. (R.I.P Sputnik (Now I need to explain that))), needs to be started... So what am I gonna do? Well, I put a lot of time into it so I'm not gonna kill it! The cardstock formers aren't working, so I'm planning on 3D printing them in ABS. If PLA can work, then I'll use that, as it's easier to print. So there. I want more to say, but that's all. Uuuuuh. AH-HA! I'll explain the "R.I.P sputnik" in a different post. All holy link!
@MrTyTheGreat thanks! The next part is coming out soon!
@corsair013 Indeed, I saw. I finished installing the aileron servos on the JN-4. Waiting on the motor I ordered. Can't wait to see the finished HP 0/400! Looking good so far...
@MrTyTheGreat Thats what I am making the HP 0/400 out of.
@MrTyTheGreat Yea
@corsair013 Also, I've pretty much decided on making the DHC-6 out of Foam board and poster-board. Designing it will be more of a challenge, but a skill I should learn.
@corsair013 That may be fairly soon!
@MrTyTheGreat Wonderful! I cant wait to see them fly! :)
@corsair013 I had a paragraph written but it was way too long for a comment. So the short version:
The Jenny Is nearly done, and I've ordered the electronics for it, and then some.
I'm going to retry on the bush plane, using 3D printed formers.
I'm making plans to build a DHC-6, (I've fallen in love with De Havilland Canada.)
All you need to know, without writing a novel! (lol)
Also, P.S. Thanks for your help, and encouragement! I now really enjoy building!
(One more thing: I'm considering starting a youtube channel, so you'll most certainly see the Jenny's maiden!)
Great! keep up the good work!
