I've seen a lot of planes on here, and quite often it seems they have no visible 'standard' cockpits (the ones in the cockpit menu), and it is often replaced by something that looks like it's made from fuselage parts.
So, how is this done? Is it by clipping the cockpit into the fuselage block? If so, how do you do that, since whenever I try the part goes red and I can't attach it properly. Do I ignore the red colour and carry on?
How do people make cockpits that look nothing like the standard ones, or how do you part clip?

u do this
@goboygo1 I can do it too
@goboygo1 I'm on android too, and I can do it.
@goboygo1 not by much (UI wise)
@MrDoolittle andriod edition is different.
@goboygo1 try harder then? I can do it on iOS
@DemonSniper8 really? i have tried, but it doesn't work. im on andriod.
@TheMathsGod yep, install them both.
Is there an option in Android though? So far I haven't seen it.
@goboygo1 you can enter numbers on in game...
@TheMathsGod @DemonSniper8 in game nudging is not as good as FT with FT you can enter numbers.
@TheMathsGod nudging replaced fine tuner IMO.
Use nudging, or often I just hide the cockpit somewhere in the middle of the body and use a camera for the actual cockpit view.
Thanks, I'm using Android so I'll have to install a couple of mods (fine tuner and overload, is that correct @Razor3278?)
After you’ve done what the others have said, Place it on top of where you want it, and using the part transform tool (under rotation) nudge it down into place (left arrow on the y axis)
I scale the cockpit down, then make a cockpit out of fuelslages when I do that, it takes a little practice! :)
You make a cockpit from fuselage blocks then nudge it downwards for pc and for android you can get the fine tuner mod for nudging.
For the main cockpit block you can nudge it in the fuselage or you can scale it using overload (another mod) then nudge it in.
