If you are to own an airline company, what planes would you choose for your fleet?

424k realSavageMan  7.2 years ago
  1. What planes would you purchase for your fleet
  2. Would you apply the strategy of Airbus (hub-distribution) or Boeing's strategy? (Point to point)

Below is my thought. I would actually prefer hub-distribution strategy since the demand for flights would be higher in the future. so my fleet list would be:

Regional:
ERJ 145
Airbus A318 (I'm working on that now!)

Narrow body:
Airbus A321 NEO
Boeing 737-MAX 8
Boeing 797

Wide body:
Boeing 787-9
Boeing 777-9X
Boeing 747-8i

Name of Carrier is going to be Enzo Air fleet would be for short flights less than 4 hours 390 737 Max 8 and for long flights over 8 hours 100 747 8i and for medium flights of 4-8 hours
777 9X oh and for private flights 737-500 will not have a restricted hub and will do flights like a train just with every aircraft on a different route for allot its life and air crews will be together for all flights

they Are not bad. Air bus is amazing. They took 40 years to be the size of Boeing. Boeing started at aprox. 1906 to be this size

@grantflys Trust me, you never forget a traumatic experience. I almost died on an airbus once. And it was the plane's fault. So yes, they are really that bad. And they are uglier than the mom from those fat momma jokes too.

No offense btw, I just hate Airbus with a passion.

@EpicPigster1 Are Airbuses really THAT bad? The Airbus A300-600ST Beluga, maybe, but it’s better than what they were using before in every aspect (The Aerospacelines Guppy.) Literally the only reason I went with an all Boeing fleet (minus the Dash 8) for my VA was because in reality they tend to be cheaper to operate for the same performance.

I wish I could start too, but I have to get my grades up and my PC isn't working. I have two B's and my parents are going nuts.

Lol. Yeah, I do. I recently discovered the Tu-204 and I've been really wanting to build one, but I can't build build because of homework that's in the way and because my PC isn't working right now. If we ever find the time to do a collab, instead of a MC-21, I want to build a Tu-204. :)

    No such thing. @Temporaryaccount
I think you are talking about the Beluga as there is no such thing as an A380 Beluga. The Airbus Beluga is a modified A300.
