As Tensions grow more and more on the continent, The Z Empire asks to annex the region of Ikagar, rich in ressources and fuel. But before any diplomatic action could be done, the Kruolan Empire declares war on The great Thingy Empire, Thus, starting the Second Jundroo War.
As the alliance between these 2 empires states that if one of the empires decides to declare war on another country, the other one has the obligation to help and support the said empire. because of this, the Z Empire also declared war on the Great Thingy Empire.

The attack was called : Operation Sickle

in the morning of November 10 1939, The Kruolan Empire sends 50 SM-15's towards the GTE's city Ikagar, followed by 30 NJ-192's. The bombing raid started at 9:00 am, causing medium damage on the city, and destroying only a few structures. But it had a devastating impact on the populaion, many famous buildings were damaged or destroyed aswell as the town hall.
Knowing that the upcoming events would be devastating for the empire's population and industry, the Z Empire decided to protect it's cities with anti-aircraft, as well as bunker protections for the civilians.
