@Maxwell1 you have to defend opinions. Just stating its an opinion doesn't defend it from criticism

@Maxwell1 no I am just not going to talk to you because I don't like being talked down to by someone who's planes barely break hundred parts. Maybe actually helpful criticisms would be nice but just saying your plane is bad doesn't help anyone and makes you look like a condescending p-o-s. I could go on most of your planes and say there bad but that wouldn't really accomplish anything would it? Now I am done talking to you unless you actually do have some criticisms.

So you're only going to talk to people at "your level"?

Then you should have said so.
In his case it just looks bad from the start, regardless of the paint. (My opinion) @MrDoolittle

@Maxwell1 the point of this post is to criticize Awsomur's belief that his planes don't do well because of the flat paint he was using.

@Maxwell1 well the panels don't exactly pop out in real life do they?

It doesn't entirely, but you really can't see the details that much and it makes the whole plane look dull. I know F4Us had that kind of paint but... it just doesn't work here.

@Kerbango that's what the hmmm meant. Flat paint clearly doesn't equal bad and here is an example of it not equaling bad

@ShatSlanger in my statement I said that mixing flat and glossy looks better. Nowhere did I say something had to be all glossy or all flat. Hell even the difference between glossy semi gloss and flat changes the color itself.
Also I was agreeing with@MrDoolittle in saying that all flat is not good. Is that not the point of the hmmmm?
I mean if you were going for the Hoodrat, beater car, spray painted primer look then yeah you got that right on the nose.

Using flat paint as a base makes the glossy stand out more sometimes. But yes all flat is not good.

Well, it depends on what the flat paint is covering. Obviously, some things were never meant to have flat paint
