Another idea I mentioned a while ago was having group sequencing. Let's say I made a plane with an armed bomb bay inside including fully working doors, detachers, etc. In order to make it work I would have to open the doors using the VTOL slider (or whatever controls you assigned the mechanism), set weapons from air to ground, select boom 25/50 and finally fire. Lots of steps must be taken to perform 1 action. So instead I assign the doors and the bomb on group 1 to make things easier. I reach my target and activate group 1 but my plane explodes because the bomb hit the doors before they could open. Why not give each group a timeline of some form. You would assign each piece to activate at a certain time. In my case I would assign the doors to open immediately and after 2 seconds or so, drop the bomb. This is just 1 example of this idea however, it can save a lot of space for controls since you don't need to assign individual controls to everything and you don't have to rely on just 8 groups alone on your creation.
Need help too man, I'm making a landing gear, and I want the lg doors to open before the lg comes down, and for it to close after the lg has gone up
@RedstoneAeroAviation More of a timeline because it would seem tedious to type "hinge rotater 1 second, missile 2 seconds." Just have 1 timeline and everything assigned to that group can slide on that timeline. Also a delay usually involves 1 task, I'm talking about several tasks.
Simply a delay?
