sooo I got a growing concern/feeling that a lot of you think "wowie, that guy posts a lot of forum stuff, oof," so I'll let the images do the talking. I guess they can show you some progress, too. Pretty much what I'm saying is I'm doing a lot more than it seems.
some of the stuff explained:
-track accessories are incase anyone decides to make another train map/mod
-the "Diggy Dog" is a simple ground pounder, early stages
-i uploaded a lot of coaches, some v2
here we go
in other news, I decided to scrap the idea of using a ALCo PA-1 for the special train. Instead, I'm going with a F7a pair, using the cab TrainDude gave me about half a year ago.
@WNP78 yep
you're like me, putting loads of work into several projects simultaneously, switching to other projects before you finish the one before.
@MrSilverWolf oof, conrail
@Tully2001 roger dodger
@Thomasj041 i guess that would be easier on mobile, but usually its all gucci on my PC, even though it's a potato
@RailfanEthan so I'm actually going to do the SD45 in the Montana Rail Link colors, but as I was looking up details, I ended up finding this picture....
@RailfanEthan I start with cockpits and cabs first because trying to fit a high-part train controls subassembly into the rest of the train is extremely difficult.
@RailfanEthan nvm I am noob, it says the train type is a SD45
@RailfanEthan lol
@MrSilverWolf noice, everytime I look at them I always see my local company, Pan-Am lol
@RailfanEthan also it appears that my home state company, Montana Rail Link had those GP38s so I think I'll do it in that paint scheme
@RailfanEthan ok I'll dig around for those as well, thanks again!

bada bing bada boo
@MrSilverWolf roger dodger, BNSF does indeed have them
@MrSilverWolf Don't forget to do research on them too. Find out the approx weight, horsepower, fuel amount, and so forth. If you can find a engineer's manual (pretty easy to find one online as a .pdf) you'll be golden
@RailfanEthan also I believe I see those GP38s for BNSF when they occasionally pass through Missoula MT when I'm there doing things there
How do you post images on the forums anyway?
@RailfanEthan ok I'll try the frame way first then once I get good at doing the trains I'll try to do the cab and engine first
Thanks for the help!
@RedstoneAeroAviation ripperoni
@MrSilverWolf Try starting with the frame and trucks. You can use the one I do, they're railway mod friendly. After that, start a small frame of where the walls will be (like 0.25 high or something). Slowly build it up, and keep the engine itself for last, along with the cab. Or, you can try what @Thomasj041 told me awhile back, and start with the cab and mold the train around it.
@RailfanEthan ok I'll try to do the GP 38 and any tips on where to start on these?
I have a ton of forum posts
@grantflys yupyup
@MrSilverWolf I think something like a GP38 or a DB V200, they're fairly simple
Also I was wondering what train would be the easiest for me to do? I've been thinking about making a train or two and was just curious which train would be best to start with cause I've be done one before
Trains... Trains everywhere... Thomas the train theme song starts playing in the back ground
