Hi!
This post goes for the beginners, i hope they gon'na understand it.
Maybe it's just me, but i find more and more stolen creations on the "newest airplanes" section, and i wanna show you why it's really wrong.
So there are some accounts who only based on build stealing, and they found the way, how to upload it like a new post, and sometimes it's hard to me, to decide that i have found a skilled beginner, or just another blackleg...
The problem with this not just the fact you wanna be famous with a build what is not yours, but i think this takes the opportunity away from those guys who are really good, and original beginner builders.
I know, the limit is thin between tinkering and stealing, but here's some hints for you (this is technically not copying, but still not acceptable):
NOT OKAY:
-Taking a car, slapping on some wings and jet engines, and uploading it as a 'flying car'
-Changing the color shames, and sell it like a "painted" variant
-take off some parts, put on a parachute, and say "its a drag version"
- Slap tons of guns on it, and say that's a wepaoned version
OKAY:
- any changes that clearly visible, and more than +5 part
- Anything what shows a minimal creativity
- Painted version with actual decals, logos, and numbers on it.
These points are just hints for you, i dont want to, and i'm not allowed to create new rules, i just wanna help you to avoid uploading pointless creations.
So please, try to be original, it's not problem (and not an excuse) that you think your build isn't good enough. And for God's sake read the rules carefully!
Thank you for reading!
@DerpyDumpLump bruh
I actually have stolen builds. Sorry. I won't do it again.
@RcAddict no problem bro :D
Nevermind, thank God for your amazing how to build cool cars series, learned yet another great tip. Sorry for the inconveinience
Ok I need help, started a chassis build and it already weighs 3,569 ibs. Is that good? I don't think it is but I'm not sure
So true.
@RcAddict Yeah, i know... If i say something that's obviously stolen i report it... That's all i can do, or we can do...
What people are doing is taking the the cockpit off, saving the the whole car as a sub assembly, creating a new plane and pasting the car sub assembly in the plane spot and putting the cockpit back on.
What you said here is so true... I Build my own stuff some work some don't but at the end of the day its my own creations...
Hey check out my aircraft mate I sure you’ll find them pretty cool im a huge fan of yours@TakicraftCorporation
@Mattangi corrected. Thank you
@StandTall yes
@TakicraftCorporation all you really have to do is respect and credit the original creator
I have personally stolen 1 build: My OV-10 Bronco that got removed. (TheLatentImage please don't delete my comment!)
Very true👌
@pilotred233 it's tolerable if you say it what is exactly the improvement, and you at least say that it's not your work. The problem is they pretending that is they jobs.
Thought I've experienced someone stealing my builds, it was called the hyper car. It was so good that someone decided to steal it...I think...
Oh dear, but I just made a realistic flight model jundroo p51, but it has no visible changes at all, just flight physics... :U
This annoys me so much
Yup @UssInvincible
@PlanesOfOld Thanks bro. i'm not sure this post gon'na change the community, it's just good to know not i'm the only one who see this as a problem..
@MrDoolittle Don't get me wrong man, i don't want to say them what to do, i just want to help them to be more creative. and as i sayed these are just hints, not rules :)
Lol you don't know how good you got it! 2 years ago when I was No 2 of the leaderboard, When I uploaded something there were about 6 copies uploaded within 2 hrs lol, the most copies ive ever had on a plane was 12. It seems to have died down
@TakicraftCorporation just let people do what they want to do. If they want to post a bike with wings let em.
I’d say that’s a wise choice. But I think the moderators probably appreciate you saying this.
